Poppies and Flowers Shipping Information

Below you will find a list of common questions regarding shipping options. When you order from PoppiesShop.com we want you to feel secure and confident that your decision is a good one. WHAT DOES SHIPPING COST?
To calculate the cost of shipping, place your item(s) in the Shopping Cart. From the Cart, you can see what the estimated shipping cost will be. You can also find out the cost of different shipping methods (Ground, Second-Day, Next-Day, etc.). Please note that you must first enter your shipping information. None of this information is submited to us until the order is completed (after the shipping cost is displayed)

WHAT IF MY PACKAGE IS HELD AT CUSTOMS?
Since we are unable to effect what happens at customs we don't assume any responsibility for packages held or destroyed. Also from time to time customs will add extra duty charges to your package. This is a very rare occurance that can't be controlled by us. Customs and duty charges are the responsibility of the customer. However, if you package is destroyed we will do our best to help you in any way we can to make you happy with your purchase. Whether it is sending you another package, or offering you some other form of compensation. At Poppies Shop it's our commitment to our customers above all else.

WHEN WILL I RECEIVE PRE-ORDERED PRODUCTS?
Once your pre-ordered product is available, you will be notified with an e-mail that it has been shipped. Pre-ordered items will not be delivered prior to us receiving our stock.

If you select an enhanced shipping method, your poppies and dried flower items will be shipped by the selected method on the date we have them available.

All pre-orders benefit from our Pre-Order Price Guarantee. This means that if the price drops by the release date on any pre-order title you purchased, you'll pay the lower price.

If you have received a tracking number from us and wish to find out the location of your package. An easy to use tracking form is available on our site.

WHAT ARE THE DIFFERENT WAYS YOU SHIP TO ME?
Except for our seed orders, all products are shipped via UPS signed delivery. Generally there are 4 basic levels of service for shipping your orders from PoppiesShop.com. You may choose from ground, 3 day, second-day or next-day shipping. Some of our items can be shipped via ground shipping only which typically will take from 5 - 7 business days. Seed orders are shipped (free of charge) by regular post. Other restrictions may apply based on the order destination.

WILL YOU USE MY SHIPPING INFORMATION FOR OTHER PURPOSES?
Poppies Shop is a Canadian owned company. Therfore, all information is held in the strictest confedence according to Canadian privacy laws (Some of the strictest in the world). Your information will never be used for any other purpose other than to ship you the products ordered. We will never sell, rent, give, etc, your information or send you unsolicited mailings unless you have requested to receive our newsletter. Rest assured your private information is safe with us.

DO SOME ORDERS TAKE LONGER TO SHIP THAN OTHERS?
Yes. Due to the very large amount of products we sell. We only carry our best selling products. All the poppy pods and papaver somniferum poppy seeds you see on our site are always in stock and ready to be shipped. However if there is ever a problem with an order placed on our site we will contact you A.S.A.P. Also, beside each product there is a status of when the estimated delivery will be. I'VE NEVER ORDERED FROM POPPIES SHOP BEFORE AND WANT TO SPEAK WITH SOMEBODY. HOW DO I ORDER BY PHONE?
We prefer, and found that most of our customers prefer email as a means of communication. Therefore, we do not post our phone number on our site. This allows us to keep our costs low by not having dedicated telephone staff and large long distance bills. Yet we still maintain the highest customer support with all our customers emails being returned within 1 business day.

However, many first time customers are a little reluctant to purchase from a company that they have had little or no human interaction with. Of course we completely understand this and, quite honestly, feel the same way ourselves when conducting business online.
